The GSM module gives the option to add additional emergency stop button or 2NC safety device to the GM1 control unit and maintain CAT4 SIL3 PLe performance. The GSM connects via a built in 6-way strap to the adjacent GM1/GSM module. The GSM accepts 2 closed contact inputs from either an MLG light curtain or OSSD safety switch. Indicator LED’s on the GSM provide diagnostic information along with volt free contact status indicator.
